The sand filter pump uses either silica sand or lightweight Bestway Polysphere™ Pool Filtration Balls, included in this set. Made of recyclable and non-toxic material, the cotton-like filtration balls can last 4-6 months with proper maintenance. Additional Features This above ground pool set includes a lightweight pole with interchangeable vacuum and skimmer heads for easy, convenient pool maintenance.
